Toyota Poor Paint Quality
This results in patchy paint quality with not enough coverage primer just covered in some areas really obvious orange peel effect really fragile paint which chips easily and once chipped lets the water onto the water-base base coat which reacts and de-laminates the lacquer around it and some unacceptably poor skrimping on paint around the door bases inner wing channels boot gutters etc where the primer shows through or the paint. By comparison the paint on our 99 pre-runner still looks pretty good.

Toyota poor paint quality. As in it went from went from something like 6 microns thick down to 2. The printer has a cleaning mode that can correct and prevent print quality problems. And Toyota has actually cheaped out on paint too.
Toyota ProTect protects the paint from day one. I had a 2003 4Runner that had poor paint like my 2006 Prius. I am definitely not impressed with the paint quality of the Camry.
The 2012 Toyota Camry has 9 problems reported for horrible paint quality. There were chips in the paint. I dont think you are alone there.
